Traveling Them Thar Hills

Morning beach finds / Afternoon bike path

This morning we took a 5 mile walk on the beach.
Today’s finds ranged from Canadian geese, wind swept
rocks to beach agates laying to be taken from low tide.
Tree earrings, to nightly tracks of raccoons.

This afternoon I took a mountain bike ride down a dark trail.
I had no idea where it was going to end up. It made me think
this must be what Sherwood Forest must have been like.
Then all of a sudden you come out to a Cliff with a view of
the lighthouse and beach to the north.

I’ve often asked, “name me one thing the government has done right?”
… and haven’t received an answer, from anybody, yet!
But NOW I have changed my mind. The Oregon State parks department
has impressed me to no end! Everyday I see something new that we
all get to enjoy, that aren’t seen in other states…
and that is a never ending beach for ALL to enjoy,
and they do it so great!
